On December 2nd 2014, Imakatsu's Roppongi store appeared in "Michelin Guide Tokyo 2015" and obtained the Bib Gourmand status.

Imakatsu opened its first outlet in June 2009, in Japan's most international area, Roppongi. In August 2013, Imakatsu opened its second store next to the Kabuki-za (in Ginza), a sacred palce for Japanese traditional arts.
